This is the first post of my new blog - Twin Cities Service Guru. The goal of this first post is to introduce you to what I will be doing with this blog. As my profile indicates, I have been a long time award-winning service professional who lives and works in the Twin Cities. The purpose of these posts is to describe my service experiences - good or bad - at local businesses, and offer both constructive criticism and praise where it is due.
This blog will mention businesses by name, so that my readers will have access to those places they may either wish to avoid or frequent more often. The potential long-term goal is to offer some form of consulting service to those businesses either struggling to provide good service or wishing to improve their service. If this long-term goal is achieved, then I will also post when a business uses this and improves their service.
Your comments will be also be vital to this new blog. I would like to know if you have had similar or different experiences at the businesses mentioned in this blog. I would also like to know other places where you have either positive or negative experiences. This will help to build an ongoing list of good and bad places in the Twin Cities. For those posts with sufficient detail, I will try to comment on how this business could have improved their service in the situation.
